Creative and Commercial Work

A complete compendium of my creative work.

In Spring of 2022, I worked with Annalyse studios on Annalyse Yue’s INNSAEI campaign. I was director of photography as well as editor.

Produced in Queens, New York, this piece is meant to highlight the movement of Yue’s garments in an almost mirage-like style.

In early 2022, I had the opportunity to shot a promotional video for an agent with the real estate company The Agency.

The promo was meant to highlight an upcoming development the company was looking to sell on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, next to Central Park.

In 2019, I produced a short public service announcement to highlight a trend of school shootings that occurred in rapid frequency during that time.

Our high school and the San Diego Police Department teamed up to try and effectively curb gun-violence incidents. The film ultimately won first place in the competition and was aired on public networks provided by Cox for a summer.

Nopales is a song produced in tandem with my good friend and collaborator SOOKIE!

In 2022, we travelled to the mountains of California to produce an album called Living Proof with the aim of putting our production talents to test and creating an homage to our friendship - which is challenged by distance and time.

An Experimental short film created by my friend Daniel Locke and I.

The idea was based off a number of different other works including Ponysmasher (David F. Sandberg) films and Kurt Vonnegut. The story follows a young man through the American Education system in a time of heightened politicization in the media.

For this piece, I was inspired by Wu Tsang’s piece “Into a Space of Love.”

I interviewed a few of my friends about what they find upsetting in their lives, as well as what they find to make their lives worthwhile. I took the most unsettling parts of their interviews and put them together into a distorted mosh of editing to the beat of a song I created.

This film was developed between my friend Stella Choi and I in 2020. The story is based on a poem by José Martí.

I arrived to Shanghai, China in late 2020 and we began developing the concept while I was in full-quarantine in my hotel. Once I left the hotel, we had very little time to film and wrap up production on “I Have a White Rose to Tend.”

Here’s a short film-noir spoof my friends and I made in 2020 as part of a case study for a class on film-noir.

All acting was done by seasoned industry-professionals!

Here’s a short documentary I made for an art collective in San Diego in 2018.

I’ve definitely come a long way since then! My attention to detail while recording sound was not the best, but being able to create a piece that brought attention to the challenges that artists have to face was important to me.
